Major flooding has been taking place over the past few days but today the floodgates were let loose. The Yellowstone River is overflowing throughout Paradise Valley effecting Gardiner MT, Livingston MT, Yellowstone Montana, Red Lodge MT, Hardin MT, and parts of the Gallatin Valley. Many of the rivers are running high. Roads, bridges, homes, and trails are washed away leaving hundreds of people stranded as well as livestock displaced.
If you are planning a trip to Montana in the next week please look at the weather forecast. When you visit this great state always be prepared for all 4 seasons. Our prayers are with the families and people who have been directly impacted by this devastation.
