Before temperatures start to drop, which tend to be pretty quick up here, we wanted to suggest some hiking trails. This is the Bear Canyon Hike just outside of Norris. It’s a beautiful, moderate in difficulty, family friendly hike that follows the Madison River. Round trip the hike is 15 miles. Bear Trap Canyon dips down to the river during the course of your journey. Remember, you can make it as long or as short as you like. The great thing is the trail offers a number of activity options. Dogs are allowed to use the trail but they need to be kept on leash.
